LuskinOIC Connects with Families at the LA Dodgers PlayerFest

On June 14, 10 LuskinOIC volunteers joined UCLA Health at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s PlayerFest at Dodger Stadium, an annual community celebration that welcomed more than 5,000 attendees. Volunteers from Los Amigos, Las Amigas, Las Madrecitas, Las Niñas, and Ortho High came together to represent the hospital and support community outreach efforts throughout the day.

From sharing information about LuskinOIC’s programs and services to distributing educational materials and giveaways, volunteers helped connect families with valuable resources. They also led interactive activities, including coloring stations and games such as cornhole, creating a fun and welcoming space for children and families to engage with the hospital’s mission.

Through their enthusiasm and dedication, our volunteers helped strengthen community awareness of LuskinOIC while fostering meaningful connections with families across Los Angeles. We are grateful for their commitment to service and for helping make PlayerFest a successful and impactful event.
