Earlier this month, we were honored to receive a generous distribution from the Stahl Rolling Hills Estate. The trust was established by John M. Stahl before his passing in 1967. In his estate plans, Mr. Stahl named his close friend and longtime assistant, Elaine Rogers, as the trust’s primary beneficiary. At Ms. Rogers’ request, Mr. Stahl also designated LuskinOIC as a beneficiary of his estate, creating a lasting legacy of support for medical education and patient care.

This meaningful gift will help fund the creation of an Advanced Surgical Simulation Lab, an innovative training space designed to prepare the next generation of surgeons. Recruiting, educating, and training future surgical leaders is a cornerstone of LuskinOIC’s mission. The new simulation lab will provide residents and students exploring careers in medicine with invaluable hands-on experience in a realistic, low-risk learning environment before they enter the operating room.
